University Grants Commission (UGC) Post Graduate Scholarships for SC/ST Candidates Notification

University Grant Commission from New Delhi is Inviting Scholarship Applications From SC ST Persuing Students. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to 1000 SC/ST candidates to pursue postgraduate level studies in Professional subjects at recognized Indian Universities/Institutions/Colleges.Students can get full Information from Official Website or please download below give Attachment

Note : Only those candidates who have been admitted in postgraduate professional subjects at recognized universities/colleges during the academic session 2010-11 are eligible to apply under the scheme.

Scholarship Amount:
1.Scholarship @Rs.5,000/- per month (ME/M.Tech) @Rs.3,000/- per month for other courses.
2.Contingency A @Rs.15,000/- per annum(ME/M.Tech) @Rs.10,000/- per annum for other courses.

Documents Required During the Submission of Online (Mandatary)1. Caste Certificate (SC/ST)
2. Age Proof Certificate. (i.e. Xth certificate etc)
3. Graduate Degree Marksheet/Certificate
4. Physical Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Steps to fill-in the online form:Step -1: Personal Information including caste and physical disability certificate(if applicable). A candidate registration id is generated on completion of step 1 that can be used for generating a pdf file once submission process is completed.
